On July 25, 2007, the GBA adopted the Eastern San Joaquin Integrated Regional Water
Management Plan.
The IRWMP defines and integrates key water management strategies to
establish the protocols and course of action for implementation of
the Eastern San Joaquin Integrated Conjunctive Use Program (ICU
Program).
The ICU Program will implement a comprehensive and prioritized set
of projects and actions that when implemented, will meet adopted
Basin Management Objectives and could potentially provide regional
benefits to areas beyond the Eastern San Joaquin Region.

The GBA is currently preparing a
Programmatic Environmental Impact Report (EIR) pursuant to the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the Eastern San
Joaquin Integrated Conjunctive Use Program.
As required by CEQA, a Notice of
Preparation has been prepared.
